  3. Headteacher’s welcome
Welcome to The Priory, a preparatory school where we encourage excellent behaviour, manners, and attitudes towards learning.

Our aim is to help each child reach their full potential, and we celebrate their unique talents and strengths, whether in math, sports, art, or technology.

Our British curriculum, enriched with Nigerian traditions and culture, offers specialist tuition in music, French, sport, computing, and art. Our after-school program provides a range of activities that fosters children’s passion for learning. With small class sizes and a nurturing environment, our students thrive and make significant progress.

Our focus is on facilitating learning for each individual child, enabling them to develop independent skills of enquiry.

Teachers are attuned to the needs and interests of their students, and we place great value on the nurturing relationships they develop.

Our House system encourages healthy competition, giving children leadership opportunities and a sense of community across year groups. We have a variety of clubs and teams ranging from violin and dance to chess or writing, and older students can stay late to make the best possible preparations for their secondary school assessments. Our graduating students have excelled in top secondary schools both in Nigeria and overseas, thanks to our focus on educating the whole child.

Our commitment to educating the whole child means that our students not only achieve excellent test results, but also gain a wider appreciation and understanding of the world around them and the challenges ahead.

We would love to meet you in person and share with you some of our Priory magic firsthand. Book an appointment for a tour and a chat, and become part of our family.
