Lunch

We prioritise the health of our students by encouraging them to bring daily packed lunches that are nutritious, healthy, and well-balanced.

Our Healthy Lunchbox expectations are designed to ensure that children enjoy a varied and balanced diet while at school. Ideally, a well-balanced lunchbox should contain a mix of the following:

  • Proteins: e.g. Lean meats, fish, eggs, beans, and legumes.
  • Fruits and Vegetables: A variety of fresh, colorful options.
  • Whole Grains: e.g. Whole grain bread, brown rice, or whole grain pasta
  • Dairy: Low-fat yogurt, cheese, or milk.
  • Healthy Snacks: Nuts, seeds, or a small portion of dried fruit.

To support these healthy eating habits, the school provides drinking water throughout the day, allowing children to top up their drinking bottles as needed. This ensures that students stay hydrated and can focus on their learning and activities with sustained energy and concentration.

By promoting these healthy lunchbox guidelines and providing ample hydration, we aim to create a supportive environment that fosters the physical and mental well-being of our students.
