Rewards

To this end, we have implemented an extensive Rewards System that recognizes and encourages the diverse achievements, progress, and good behaviours of our students.

For small achievements, progress or good behaviours teachers award congratulations stickers – recognising the positive quality that child has demonstrated. For something more substantial in terms of effort, time or attitude children can earn House Points – and contribute to their House total (which is a hotly contested competition for each House to win at the end of each term).

We reward a special contribution with our weekly Star of the Week certificates too, and these are awarded during weekly assemblies so the whole community can congratulate the recipients.

For really outstanding work, effort, participation or leadership teachers can also nominate a child to receive the Headteacher’s Commendation Certificate. A very special prize for excellence.

Lastly, at our annual Prize Giving ceremony, we recognize a year’s worth of progress, work, and determination with a subject award. This event celebrates the tenacity and dedication of our students throughout the year, reflecting our commitment to nurturing their growth and development.
